38th annual sale reached a top of $14,000, with 344 rams of 381 averaging $3017. Additional rams sold after the sale.
The top-priced ram, Mumblebone 233720, by Mumblebone 180919 and out of the ewe lamb, Mumblebone Mumblbone 220902, was bought by Coleburra Poll Merinos, Tintinara, South Australia.
The ram ranked in the top 10 per cent of the breed for yearling weight at +11.9 and the top 20pc for post-weaning weight, yearling eye muscle depth, yearling staple length, early breech cover, and late dag.
He had a fibre diameter of 17.2 micron, 2.5 micron standard deviation, 14.5pc coefficient of variation and 99.7pc comfort factor.
